Advanced Permaculture Design Courses (APDC)

Are you interested in earning your APDC- an Advanced Permaculture Design Certification or working on a Diploma of Permaculture Design?

We are presently working with a variety of POST- PDC students to issue ADVANCED PERMACULTURE DSEIGN CERTIFICATION CERTIFICATIONS (APDC), for a variety of PORTFOLIO BUILDING andREAL-WORLD DESIGN PROJECTS with EDUCATIONAL VALUE.

Our APDCs require the documented design and implementation of real, on-the-ground socially and ecologically regenerative projects.  Students are taking initiative in the design and construction of natural buildings, greenhouses, barns, and other infrastructure, farms and farm business plans, alternative land-acquisition; food-hub, farmers’ markets, and added value processing facilities; energy retrofit; ecological conservation, buffers, rain gardens, pollinator sanctuaries; and in education/ media outreach.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss earning your APDC with your project, or if you would like a list of projects we are seeking ‘APDC Design Delegates’ or Apprentices for.

We are also experienced in organizing custom-tailored APDC events and design charrettes, and able to host programs at our farm catered to your group’s focus (ie. rain gardens, oven/ kitchen/ classroom/ livestock shelter/ tiny-house construction, production-scale nursery, carpentry and natural building, alternative beekeeping/ pollinator support, irrigation, greenhouse design, productive flood buffers and floodplain resiliency training, and more).

You may also be interested in the 2014 Permaculture Design Certification Course,  many PDC graduates look to our course for ‘refesher PDC’ or to further their practice in collaborative or individual design, teaching and group facilitation, cold-climate tree crops, market-scale/ production permaculture, added value food businesses, or professional design or design/ build business.

Our top-caliber PDC attracts a significant group of ‘second PDC’ students, who are looking to refresh or further their practice.  Given the ability to work on both collaborative and individual design projects, students who already have a first PDC are able to develop their roles as facilitators and demonstrate Advanced Permaculture Design in their final design presentations.
